The nation is celebrating the 50th Independence and National Day on March 26 (Friday) with due respect. The nation will also pay glowing tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and valiant sons of the soil whose supreme sacrifices freed the country from the of Pakistani bondage

On this Day of the Bangladesh, CDA’s all staff shows their respects to the martyrs in the first hours of the day. They placed flowers at the Muktijoddha Memorial at the Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner's Office premises.

CDA's working area Dinajpur and Thakurgaon District, Upazila, Union and Village Members of the Organization celebrated the day through various programs on their self-initiative. On this occasion CDA’s central office organized a conference; all the staff are participate & share his/her own thoughts.  CDA Executive Director Mr. Shah I Mobin Jinnah presided over the conference. He discussed and reviewed the history of the Liberation War. He also discussed Human Rights, Land Rights, Hunger, Poverty many issues.

On March 26, 1971, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman declared Bangladesh’s independence following the crackdown on unarmed Banglalees on the midnight of March 25 by the Pakistani occupation forces.

After the nine-month War of Liberation with the supreme sacrifices of three million people, Bangladesh achieved its cherished independence on December 16, 1971.
