Institution Building

CDA’s institution building program: is a core, in which the building communities in each village is very influential and empowered to alleviate poverty, inequalities and for building Just Society.

During long last, CDA facilitates to organize and mobilize the disorganized and excluded rural people to ensure their access to land rights, land use and land reforms by building such a village based Peoples Organizations with a view to empower the landless poor men, women, youth, IPs & other vulnerable people of this region. 

Institution Building: for the poor in local communities are  strengthened with diversified measures complementary to the building of organizations in which such people participated to assist local Government Authorities to formulate new orders, Laws and Regulations or Reformulation for securing access to public land and to any other common natural resources available locally and also aiming to promote a convergence mechanism at each local Government tiers so that the collective efforts of the leaders of the Peoples Organizations are able to activate themselves for social change.   

CDA is accountable to facilitate to building up such a protection mechanism from the village level to constituency level by the side of the local level Government tiers to wider pursuits as institution building of POs in the name of PARALELLOGRAM which are being functionally strengthened the organizational units for accelerating the livelihood program as well as to initiate People Centered Advocacy for the broader Policy mobilization, activate the inactive Laws and Regulations including Reformulation and being undertaken various measures to practice and popularize the UDHR-ICESC & Civil & Political Human Rights values  for the national interest. 

Organization building and Institution building; are both refer to the perspective on capacity building. Organization building is the means of participation for organizing with the people and Institution building is the participation for empowering the people by themselves collectively.’

Considering the above aspects CDA has been aiming to accelerate its mission-strategies over the years for more integrated development activities commensurate with the land rights as human rights which helps to create and strengthen other village organizations in the name of Peoples Organizations adopted as a core strategy with the realization of the People Centered land Governance to ensure the shared vision of a just society, equitable and sustainable livelihood. 

Institution Building: is an united platform of the disempowered landless  Poor Peasants organized and institutionalized with their self-initiatives, participation for empowering them to make the joint decision in a village based Peoples Organizations (PO)and the landless PO-members are in a process of building collective leadership with a view to perform the lead role & protect land rights, protest against the injustices and securing the tenure rights to ensure fundamental Human Rights towards (Food, Clothings, Shelter, Employment, Health & Education Etc.) achieving sustainable livelihood and rights based nexus of development includes gender-sensitivity. 

CDA has been facilitating for Institutionalization of POs as  a unique solidarity building process with the resource poor within from the village to a constituency level vertically led by members step by step aligning with tier wise a group of elected leaders equally men and women upon their by-laws practicing at six respective tires together which is called a “PARALLELOGRAM “aiming to make accountable the officials from the six different Local Government Administration along with locally act the elected public representatives from different levels of political power structures viewing to  mobilize People Centered Advocacy for mitigating specific local demands through submission of memorandum including to ensure  a legislation for transparent Convergence Mechanism as a local support system in order to obtain Khas land, other natural resources and all other  allocations through departments of  public services for the community people. Such a Community solidarity inspires the village people in changing their oppressed situation applying their collective knowledge-power-strength and assists to institutionalize a significant responsive applied socio-political framework should be engaged in a recognized tripartite relationship to protect, respect and access to freedom from fear at all the local level tiers to implement the public policies. In such a way of bottom up participatory decision making potential mechanism which is viable to make the effective social mobilization and People Centered Advocacy by the grassroots peoples are capable to come up from the trap of marginalization & exclusion as well as ensuring innovations with the engagement of the diversified Stakeholders/Policy makers as well.
